Senior Audio Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Senior Audio Designer to join our team here in Nacon Studio Milan. They will closely work with the audio director in order to define our next titles audio vision and improve the current audio pipeline. They will both mentor and supervise audio designers with less experience and actively participate in sound design and implementation tasks.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with Audio Director by planning project audio and improving the audio pipeline of RaceWard Games;
Work with the rest of the team to identify and design from scratch audio elements and sound aesthetics for the game;
Work with the rest of the team to properly design audio game systems, identifying and solving possible audio issues in the process;
Work closely with Audio Director to help him mentoring and supervising younger sound designers during their tasks;
Creates very high-quality sound effects by synthesis or recording/editing;
Support and possibly manages audio tasks such as recording sessions and audio testing.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 5+ years of experience as audio designer in a game studio or in a media production company;
Very good knowledge of Fmod Studio;
Good knowledge of Unreal Engine;
Excellent knowledge of the main DAWS and common audio plugins, especially Reaper, Native Instruments, Izotope and Fabfilter common audio suites;
Problem Solving ability;
Artistic talent and taste;
Strong passion for making, playing and listening to games;
Good English knowledge.

NICE TO HAVE

Knowledge of Wwise;
Music production experience;
Love for racing world/games;
Scripting or simple coding;
VR development, Multichannel Studio Mixing or Field recording experience;
At least 1 AA+ game shipped.
